George Register has over 40 years in the securities business and founded Register Financial in 1992. He is the President and CEO of the company, responsible for overall management and operations. Prior to opening his own firm, he held numerous high level leadership positions. He was a former associate at Harris Upham & Company in New York, a member of the Top Producers Club at Paine Webber & Company in Atlanta, Limited Partner at Bear Stearns, Manager and Principal at Blackstock & Company, Principal at Marshall & Company, and Senior Vice President at Equitable Securities. George was a member of the Advisory Board for First Clearing Corporation and Georgia Securities Association. George manages equity portfolios for a number of sophisticated investors, developing customized, concentrated strategies seeking substantial gains in a limited number of highly researched Southeastern small-cap stocks.
